Your Castle ·
Faces, not just initials.
If you’ve added a photo, it now shows on your Castles’ member lists, for their members. Still never in the lobby, on the club TV or on a gambit.

The short version
- Your photo on your Castles’ member lists: the faces, “Run by” and See all
- Only that Castle’s members see its list, so only they see you there
- Never in the lobby, on the club TV or on gambits; no photo, and you’re your initials
- “Run by” now sits at the foot of About, where who runs the club belongs
A Castle’s page has had a row of members’ faces for a little while now, and every one of them was a pair of initials. Three JMs and a DL is a lovely start to a crossword, less so to a club. So if you’ve added a profile photo, it now shows there: in the faces, beside your name in “Run by” if you run the place, and in the full list behind See all.
Who sees it
A Castle’s member list is for its members, and always has been: nobody else, signed in or out, sees who’s in it. So your face goes to the people you already share a club with, plus anyone who opens your profile page, as before. It never appears in the lobby, on the club TV or on a gambit: at the board, you’re still a name. Block someone, or get blocked, and neither of you sees the other’s face.
Rather be your initials? Remove your photo in Settings and it’s deleted. The privacy page has the details.
Also: who runs it
The “Run by” line moved up to the foot of About, so it reads as part of who the club is. Members is now just the count and the faces.
