Change a tournament from its own page

A tournament's page now has Edit, the TD console and Call it off for the people who run it. And every tournament says plainly whether its bracket runs here or it's just a signup list.

A library community room set up for club night: wooden boards on long tables, numbered table tents, a few players at the boards.

The short version

  • Edit a tournament's name, time and place from its page
  • Open the TD console from there, or call it off before it starts
  • Each tournament says whether its bracket runs here or it's a signup list

A tournament you set up with New tournament has its own page, where players enter. Until now that page only offered the TD console, so changing the start time meant knowing where its event lived. Now it has Edit (name, time and place, and the page follows), Open the TD console, and Call it off while it hasn’t started, which tells everyone who entered.

Some tournaments are only a signup list: you post one, people say they’re coming, and the club runs the night on paper. The two used to look the same. Now each says which it is, right under its name.
