Your Club card, now worth showing off

Your Club card got a glow-up: your pawn's rank in big canary letters, your stamps pressed on in ink, your Social Elo when you show it. And a Share button, so the group chat can finally see it.

A wooden board mid-game in a café, an analogue chess clock behind it and a speckled mug beside a player’s sleeve, more boards on the next table.

The short version

  • A new Club card on Home and at the top of your page: your name, your pawn's rank, your stamps
  • Share your card: a picture made for posts and stories, with the link to your page
  • A link to your page now shows your card in chats and posts
  • Your page, rebuilt around the card, with your stamps as a collection
  • Only what your page already shows anyone: never your crowns, dates, or where and when you play

Your Club card used to look like a settings panel. It now looks like something you’d slide across the table: a ballpoint-blue card with your name, your photo, and your pawn’s rank in big canary letters, the pawn walking up its file toward the crown on the 8th. Underneath, past the perforation, your stamps are pressed on in ink, beside your Social Elo and how many rated games you’ve played, if you show them.

Share your card

Tap Share your card on Home or on your page. On a phone it opens your share sheet with a picture sized for posts and stories, and the link to your page. On a laptop, save the image or copy the link. Paste your page’s link anywhere and it shows up as your card. Every stamp on it came from a real board, which is more than most profile pictures can say.

Only what you already show

The card is your page as anyone with the link sees it, nothing more. Your Social Elo is on it only if you show it to everyone, and only after five rated games; your level and stamps only if you show them. Your crowns, dates, and where and when you play never are. The share sheet says what’s on it before you send it, and both switches live in Settings, under Privacy.

A page to match

Your page is built around the card now. Beside it, the parts only you see: your crowns and how far your pawn has to go, your Social Elo over time, your games, and your stamps as a collection, with the ones still to come waiting as outlines. Here’s yours.
