Run tonight's tournament without leaving the TD console

Open the night, check in the people without phones, add the walk-up at the door and enter every result on its board, all from the TD console.

The short version

  • Open tonight's night from the top of the console
  • Check in roster players with one tap, or all at once
  • Someone new with no phone? Type their name and add them on the spot
  • Result on every board: pick who won and it's settled

A tournament night used to send the TD on laps: the console to start, Tonight to open the night, Tonight again to check in the players without phones, and Tonight once more for their results. Good cardio, bad tournament direction.

Now the console does all of it. If tonight’s night isn’t open, the top of the console says so and has Open tonight’s night. Roster players you add at the door are checked in as you add them, and anyone you put in earlier has a Check in on their row. Someone new with no phone? Type their name in Add a player and add them to the roster and the field in one go.

Once a round is out, every board has Result. Pick who won and it’s settled. If the room changed after you drafted a round, the console says so and asks you to pair it again before anything reaches a board.

One main button at a time, too: open the night, then Start. Boards, printing and calling it off are under More.
