Pull down to reload, and pick up where you left off
If you've added Castle Gambit to your home screen, you can now pull any page down to reload it (watch the rook), and the app opens where you left it.
The short version
- Pull down from the top of any page to reload
- A rook turns as you pull, and spins as it reloads
- Closed the app? It reopens on the page you were on
- Reload this page is in Menu too
Added Castle Gambit to your home screen? It looks and feels like an app, which is the point, but it also meant there was no reload button, and closing it sent you back to the front door. Both fixed.
From the top of any page, pull down. A little rook comes down with your finger and turns as you go. Pull far enough and it’s ready; let go and the page reloads while the rook spins. (Pulling on the board moves pieces, as it always did.) Rather tap? Reload this page is in Menu.
And if you close the app and come back within half a day, it opens on the page you were on, mid-puzzle included. Longer than that, it opens on “Type the code”, ready for club night.
