Play puzzles on a tournament roll-up
There's a ⚙ next to Hint now. Pick thinner outline pieces, a high-contrast board, or the green vinyl roll-up you'd find at any tournament, black and ivory set included, on paper or on the 3D table.
The short version
- A ⚙ Board button beside Hint in puzzles, and beside the sound switch in the opening trainer
- Pieces: Classic, or Outline with thinner lines
- Boards: Paper, Tournament vinyl (green and buff, with a black and ivory set on the 3D table), or High contrast
- Signed in, your choice follows you to every device
Every club has one: the green and buff roll-up board that lives in a tube, comes out for tournaments and never quite lies flat. Now your puzzles can be played on one.
Tap the ⚙ next to Hint. Under Pieces, pick Classic or Outline, the same set drawn with thinner lines. Under Board, pick Paper, Tournament vinyl or High contrast, which keeps every piece and every mark easy to see. On the 3D table, Tournament vinyl rolls out the mat itself, with a black and ivory plastic set on top.
It works the same in the opening trainer. Sign in and your board comes with you to every phone and laptop; otherwise this browser remembers it.
