What’s new

For organizers ·

Your gambits are on your schedule now.

Post a tournament, a meetup or an open game from your Castle and it shows up on your Schedule, in date order with your club nights.

A bright community hall with rows of chess boards, clocks and numbered table tents.

The short version

  • Gambits you post from your Castle show on your Schedule, under Coming up
  • In date order with your club nights
  • Members-only ones marked, called-off ones crossed out
  • Edit on every row, nights and gambits alike
  • Your Castle's card in Organizer tools shows what's next, gambit or night
  • The printed month lists them too, members-only ones without the address

Until today your Schedule only knew about your regular nights. Post a one-off tournament as a gambit and it was on your Castle’s page for everyone to see, and nowhere on the page you run the club from. That’s fixed.

Coming up now lists your gambits with your nights, in date order: when, where, how many are going, and whether it’s for members only. Edit is right there on the row, and so is a way to view it.

The rest of the back office caught up too. Your Castle’s card in Organizer tools shows whatever comes next, so a club whose only plan this month is a members-only tournament no longer looks like it has nothing on. And the month you print for the noticeboard lists your gambits beside your nights. A members-only one prints as its name, day, time and “Members only”, never where it is: paper on a wall doesn’t check who’s reading.
