Follow the people you play.
Liked your game with someone on Tuesday? Follow them from their profile, and the gambits they post land on your Home. You choose who can follow you, and only the two of you ever know.

The short version
- Follow someone from their profile page, and their open gambits turn up on your Home
- You choose who can follow you: people in your Castles (the starting choice), anyone signed in, or nobody
- Only you see who you follow and who follows you, with Remove beside each follower, and a removed follower stays removed until you say otherwise
- No counts on anyone’s profile, no messages, and nobody is told
Every club has the player you want a rematch with. Until now you had to hope they turned up on the same Tuesday. Now you can follow them.
Follow them
On someone’s profile page, tap Follow. When they post a gambit for anyone, a park game, a café meetup, a Saturday blitz, it shows up on your Home under “From people you follow”. That’s all it does. Not their games, not their results, not their rating, and not where they’re playing tonight: a follow is an invitation list, not a tracker.
You decide who can follow you
In Settings, under Following, pick who can follow you: people in your Castles (where everyone starts), anyone signed in, or nobody. Pick a narrower choice and anyone it doesn’t cover stops following you straight away, and Settings tells you how many. Guests can’t follow anyone or be followed.
Quiet by design
Only you see who you follow and who follows you. There are no follower counts on any profile, so it never becomes a race. Nobody gets a notice when they’re followed or unfollowed, and you can remove a follower without a word. A removed follower can’t follow you again until you tap Allow again, and to them it just looks like your setting. Blocking someone ends any follow between you, both ways.
