Follow a Castle.
Not ready to join? Follow a Castle from its page and its open nights and gambits turn up on your Home. Only you see who you follow.
The short version
- Follow any Castle you’re not a member of, from its page
- Its public club nights and gambits land on your Home, soonest first
- Only you see the Castles you follow; organizers see a number, never names
- Unfollow from the Castle’s page or in Settings, any time
Some people walk into a club on their first Tuesday. Most of us lurk a little first: read the poster twice, check the schedule, wonder whether “all levels welcome” means it. Now you can lurk properly.
Follow it
On any Castle’s page you’re not a member of, tap Follow. Its public club nights and open gambits show up on your Home under “From Castles you follow”, soonest first, with a note when a night’s called off. Members-only nights stay with the members. When you’re ready, ask to join: members get the lot.
Nobody’s watching you watch
Only you see the Castles you follow, in Settings, where you can unfollow any of them. There are no follower lists anywhere. The people who run a Castle see how many follow it in their Insights, never who (and under 5, not even how many). The privacy page has the details.
For organizers
Insights now counts your followers, from 5 up: people keeping an eye on your nights before they turn up for one. Keep your schedule public and current, and they’ll see it.
