Put a face to the name.
Add a photo to your profile, frame it in the circle, and your initials can take the night off.
The short version
- Add a photo from Settings, your profile, or the menu at the top of any page
- Drag, pinch or zoom it into the circle, and see it at every size before you save
- Cropped on your device: the original, and where it was taken, stay with you
- On your profile page and at the top of yours, never in the lobby or on the TV
Club night is a room full of first names, and “Dana, Board 4” works beautifully right up until there are two Danas. So your profile can have a face now.
Frame it
The top of every page is just your picture now. Tap it, then tap the little camera, or head to Settings. Choose a photo, drop one in or paste one, then drag it into the circle and pinch, scroll or slide to zoom. Beside it you’ll see how it looks on your profile and at the top of the page, before anything is saved. Changed your mind? Remove it and you’re back to your initials.
What we keep
Your phone or laptop does the cropping, and we get one small square. The original stays with you, and so do the details cameras quietly tuck into photos, like where it was taken. Replace it or remove it and the old one is deleted. The privacy page has the rest.
Who sees it
Anyone who opens your profile page, and you. Not the lobby, not the club TV, and not the who’s-going list on a gambit: at the board, you’re still a name. Photos come with an account, so guests add their email first.
