Organize opens on your Castle now

No more page of cards between you and tonight. Organize goes straight into the Castle you run, with every page for it down the side, gambits you can change right in the list, and your tournaments one tap away.

The short version

  • Organize takes you straight into your Castle: Tonight when something’s on, Gambits the rest of the week
  • Run more than one? Switch from the menu at the top, and star the one Organize opens on
  • On a laptop, every page for your Castle sits down the left side
  • The schedule is called Gambits now: club nights, meetups and tournaments in one list
  • Edit a gambit right there in the list, until it starts
  • A Tournaments page, with every TD console one tap away
  • On the calendar, + Post a gambit on any day: a tournament, a meetup or an extra club night

Most clubs are one room, one night a week, one organizer with a phone full of reminders. Organize used to greet you with a page of cards about all your Castles anyway, a big button to start another one, and a lot of white space. You had one Castle. You wanted tonight.

So now Organize goes straight into your Castle. If something’s on today (a night open, a club night tonight, a gambit starting), you land on Tonight. Any other day you land on Gambits, the list of everything coming up.

One menu for the rest

At the top of every organizer page there’s now a line that reads Organize and your Castle’s name. Tap the name for every Castle you help run, grouped under your organization if you have one, with Live beside any that has a night open. Star one and Organize opens there from then on; you can choose it in Settings too. The calendar across all your Castles is in that menu, and so is Start a Castle, for the day you open a second room.

Everything down the side

On a laptop, your Castle’s pages sit down the left: Tonight, Gambits, People and Results, then the Castle’s own settings, the cheat sheet and its public page. On a phone they’re the tabs you know.

Change it where you see it

The schedule has a new name. It always held your club nights and your gambits side by side, so now it’s called Gambits. Press Edit on a meetup or an open game and it opens right beside the list: change the time, the room or the title, save, and you’re back where you were. Once it starts it’s locked, because the people coming are counting on what it said. A club night that’s on now says Run it and takes you to Tonight.

Tournaments, one tap away

If your club runs tournaments, there’s a Tournaments page now: everything coming up and under way, each with its TD console as the big button and its QR code for the door, and the last few finished ones with their results. On the night itself, Tonight puts that night’s tournament at the top before you’ve even opened the lobby.

Post from the calendar

On the calendar, any day from today has + Post a gambit. It asks what’s on: a tournament, a meetup or open game, or one more date for a night you already run. The form opens on the day you picked. Your gambits are on the calendar too now, so the month finally shows everything.
