The night knows when it's over

A club night on your schedule now closes itself two hours after it ends, once the last game is done. Tonight shows the time, keeps it open an hour at a tap, and brings it back for six hours if you closed it too soon.

The far tables of a pub’s back room under brass lamps: games in progress, a pint and a cola beside the boards.

The short version

  • Tonight shows when the night closes: “Closes at 11:00 pm”
  • Keep it open another hour, as many times as the room needs (up to a day)
  • A game still on the board keeps the night open until it's done
  • Closed too soon? Reopen it for six hours, same code, same TV link

Club nights end; sometimes the lobby doesn’t. If nobody tapped Close on the way out, a night could still say Live over breakfast. Now a night on your schedule closes itself two hours after it ends, and Tonight says so beside the night so far: Closes at 11:00 pm. Tonight’s code stops working with it, as a night’s code should.

Room still going strong? Tap Keep it open another hour. Owners, organizers and the night’s TD can, as often as it takes, up to a day from when the night opened. A game still on the board when the time comes keeps the night open until it’s done, so nobody’s last game gets cut off.

Closed it a round too early? Reopen it from Tonight within six hours: the same code and the same TV link, so the poster on the door and the screen on the wall carry on. Everyone taps back in from their phone.
