Closing time, with a tournament still on.
Close tonight’s lobby while a knockout is still going and Castle Gambit now says so first, names the boards nobody has reported, and tells you exactly what Reopen brings back. The share screen, the flyer and the door poster also say how your club’s door works.
Tonight’s code

The short version
- Close the lobby mid-tournament and it names the tournament it takes off tonight’s boards
- It lists the games still unreported, board by board, with a link to settle them
- Keep it open has the focus, so a stray Enter keeps the night going
- The share screen and the flyer follow your club’s check-in setting
- On a tournament-only night the door poster gives the same three steps as the TV
Every TD has had the moment: the final is still on Board 1, someone asks you to close up, and your thumb is already on the button. Close the lobby now stops you for a second first. If a tournament is still under way, it says that closing takes it off tonight’s boards. It also says what Reopen gives you within six hours: the tournament goes back on its boards, but everyone checks in to the room again.
The games nobody reported
The same screen lists the boards still unreported, like “Board 3: Bo and Di, still playing”, with a link to settle them on the night’s games page. Keep it open has the focus, so a stray Enter keeps the night going.
Your club’s door, in your club’s words
Clubs that switched tournament check-in off now get a share screen and flyer that say so: scanning the tournament’s code is the entry, and so is scanning tonight’s at the door and tapping Check in. A tournament with casual games alongside, or an entry fee, says they enter on the tournament’s card. One that runs over several nights says to scan in each night, since that’s how they get paired. And on a night that’s only a tournament, the poster on the door gives the TV’s three steps (scan in, tap Check in, pairings go up), with step two saying what Check in really does that night, instead of sending people looking for Find me a game.
