Mate with a queen

Your first real ending: box the king in, bring your own king up, mate. Then two rooks climbing a ladder. You'll be able to: checkmate a lone king with a queen, and with two rooks.

Arrow keys move between squares; up is towards your opponent. Enter or Space picks a piece up and puts it down. Escape puts it back.

King and queen against a lone king is a win, as long as you don't stalemate it. Start with a box: put the queen a knight's jump away from their king.

Move the queen to a square a knight's jump from the king on e5.
