Find a game ·
Find a game, tidied up: one box, and a place that's yours
Type a town or a club. Set your location once and Find a game starts there every time. The games are at the top now, where they belong.

The short version
- One search box: a town shows what's near it, a club's name finds the club
- Set location: save where you play, on your profile, for your eyes only
- Filters live behind one button, and the ones that are on stay in sight
- Nothing near you yet? Start something: post a gambit or a club
Find a game used to greet you with a form. Now it greets you with games.
One box
Type a town and you get what’s on within 25 miles of it: tonight’s club nights, this week’s open games and tournaments, the clubs nearby. Type a club’s name and you get the club, wherever it is.
Set your location once
Tap Set location and save where you play, from where you are or by typing your town. It’s kept on your profile for you alone: nobody else sees it, it’s never on your profile page, and we round it to about a mile. From then on Find a game starts there. Remove it whenever you like. Not signed in? It works for the visit, and we don’t keep it.
Filters, out of the way
Club nights, gambits, tournaments or clubs; tonight or this week. They live behind one Filters button now, and the ones you’ve picked sit by the search box with an × to turn them off.
Nothing near you?
Then you’re early. Post a gambit and someone nearby can say they’re in, or start a club and put your nights on the map. Every club starts with one person and a board.
